The highlight of our CAPA year, all students are invited to participate in Creative Academy of Performing Arts end of year SHOWCASE which takes place each November giving students an opportunity to learn valuable stage craft skills and stage etiquette which is an integral part of performing arts education while showcasing to friends and family new skills they have learnt throughout the year!
Group and Solo Opportunities – By Invitation Only
Students demonstrating exceptional talent, commitment and work ethic will be considered for Performance Troupe and Solo routines representing Creative Academy of Performing Arts at local Eisteddfods and competitions. As representatives of our studio, presentation and behavior are of paramount importance. It is expected that all students and parents are gracious, courteous and respectful to each other and other competitors at all times. Only students participating in group routines will be considered for solo work.
CECCHETTI STATE MEDAL AWARDS
Students achieving exceptional Cecchetti Ballet Exam results may be invited to participate in this event. A wonderful opportunity for students to experience performing a solo on stage without the expense of costuming
RAD JACQUELINE MORLAND AWARDS
All students participating in RAD examinations have the opportunity to audition to participate in the group routines, which are performed at this event. Students achieving exceptional RAD Ballet Exam results may be invited to participate in this prestigious competition.
All students participating in CSTD examinations have the opportunity to audition to participate in the ensemble routines, which are performed at the Convention. A great opportunity to work with guest choreographers.
