KINDY BALLET
Our Kindy Ballet classes are an introduction to ballet for our beautiful budding ballerinas. Developing musical awareness, coordination, creativity and rhythm in a fun play based class.
GRADED EXAMINATIONS
At Creative Academy of Performing Arts we offer both Cecchetti & RAD syllabus , ensuring our students have the best training available from these two internationally recognized training methods.
Examinations are encouraged and give students a goal and a sense of achievement. Students taking examinations are required to participate in the minimum amount of lessons required for their level in order to develop the strength, flexibility and technique needed.
POINTE
Pointe work is only considered for students participating in examinations. Core strength, sound classical technique and individual physical attributes are all contributing factors in approval for Pointe work. ALL students are required to have a pre pointe assessment with our in house physiotherapist Anne Wilby and will only be permitted on Pointe once the have been approved. Students may be given specific strengthening exercises as required prior to approval and some students may be recommended to NOT pursue pointe work.
CLASSICAL EXTENSION COACHING
Students excelling at classical ballet and demonstrating extraordinary commitment and work ethic may be invited to participate in our CAPA Classical Extension Coaching. For more information please contact admin@capa.net.au
FOUNDATION BALLET CLASSES
At Creative Academy of Performing Arts we recognize that some students do not wish to participate in examinations and may wish to take ballet for recreational purposes only or to enhance their technique in another genre of dance. Our foundation ballet class covers basic classical techniques at a slower pace. Ideal for late starters or students not wanting to take ballet too seriously.
